Wow! What a storming start to 2020 we’ve had.
The Wiemann team and I are celebrating excellent results, once again, in the Furniture Awards – winning the bedroom category for the third year in a row with our new Glasgow collection.
We were particularly thrilled with the feedback from the judges: “Wiemann’s hat-trick is well deserved. As usual, their entry is attractive, well-priced, innovative, robust, and space conscious, but Glasgow’s lovely contemporary matt glass finish takes it a step beyond. Incredibly tactile and inviting, we’re expecting to see this finish popping up everywhere in the next couple of years, and Wiemann have given it a great headstart.”
On top of that, altogether we had a fantastic exhibition.
We unveiled seven new ranges, exciting innovations and two stunning new carcase and door finishes. Visitors were able to discover:
- New semi-solid wood collection Bari
- Nizza, an interesting combination of sliding, hinged and bi-fold combi robes
- Eye-catching Glasgow, a mix of hinged, combi and sliding robes in new-for-2020 finish matt glass
- Rialto, a contemporary sliding robe with a stylish thick trim
- W2000, a traditional shaker style robe
- Jura, a simple take on a basic hinged robe
- Two-door slider Korfu, with horizontal panels.
We also had 10 of our latest collections on display from our budget to top quality, VIP and semi-solid wood offerings. We’ve updated some of our best-selling ranges to offer a greater choice for consumers:
- Loft and Monaco were both on display in new finish, bianco oak – a warm light oak
- Miami Plus was shown in new finish graphite
- Dakar 2 featured new slate coloured handles
- Berlin saw its product offering updated to include a larger choice of functional furniture pieces.
Also on show were Kansas, Cambridge, All-In, Limara and Miami 2.
So we just wanted to say a massive thank you to all those who visited us. We had lots of great feedback and meaningful conversations with existing and potential customers. We’re looking forward to some great leads with new accounts over the coming weeks.
