September is a busy month for us all here at Wiemann – it’s exhibition season!
Actually, we started off last month over in Ireland, at the Irish Furniture Show in Dublin.
And I’d like to say a personal thanks to all those Irish customers of ours – existing and new – who took the time to visit our stand and place orders for the autumn. We did some really good business!
Back here in England, we are busy preparing for the autumn Long Point event at our showroom in Long Eaton (17-19 September), closely followed by the Autumn Furniture Show at the Stoneleigh Events Centre near Warwick (2-3 October).
With the advent of autumn, now’s the time to be considering a range refresh – and we’ve got a couple of brand new mid-year new ranges on show we are sure will appeal. Salzburg is right on trend in textured timber oak finish with super-size handles and hinges in contrasting black. The effect is somewhere between edgy industrial or country cottage, depending on your point of view! We’re really excited about the arrival of Misura, too. Say hello to the return of one of our coolest VIP wardrobe concepts – a slider with drawers! Available in white, pebble and Havana mat and glass finishes plus mirrors, which can all be combined to mix and match, we’re confident this one is bound to be a winner – especially as it’s a great price, too.
In between our two English shows, I’ll be at Wiemann’s factory in Germany for the annual MOW shindig (16-20 September). As this is where Wiemann reveal all their concept ranges for the coming year, it’s always a visit I look forward to. It’s the start of the process of choosing the new UK collection which will be launched at the January Furniture Show at the NEC.
But before that, we’ve all got some selling to do – so here’s hoping we’ll see all of you either in Long Eaton or Warwick in the next few weeks – we guarantee it’ll be worth your while to take a look at what we’ve got in store to boost your sales this autumn.
