The team and I have been incredibly busy over the last couple of months, attending Long Point (23-25 September) and the Autumn Furniture Show (1-2 October), showing off our stylish new products.
We had a positive response at both exhibitions to our collections and I couldn’t be prouder of the team for their hard work.
At Long Point we saw a great number of interested buyers. We had several enquiries for both our Loft and Berlin (slider) ranges in on-trend pebble grey – no surprise as it’s such a prominent colour within the interiors market! Monaco with its double door corner unit was also a popular option for many retailers.
Then at the Autumn Furniture Show, we were delighted at the interest and number of orders placed over the two-day event, with many of our retailers keen to get new products on display pre-Christmas.
A clear winner was our Jura range – a simple take on a basic hinged robe in white with contrasting cornice and doors with or without mirrors – featuring the usual exceptional quality from Wiemann but with an excellent price point for the current price conscious and apprehensive consumer.

Cambridge also continued to build momentum and is fast becoming a core range for us. Monaco in grey carcase and grey glass doors with black handles was a style and design hit with everyone – and I must admit myself, it looked stunning!
So, to any consumers reading this, if you’re thinking of updating the home for the Winter months – pay your nearest Wiemann stockist a visit, we have plenty of new developments and collection launches that your retailer will be delighted to talk you through.
But now, both Wiemann and the Litmus UK team here will be focussing on Brexit and all the uncertainties that surround it. We’ve been exploring all possible options and have been working hard to ensure that any complications remain minimal. We’ll be keeping our valued customers posted on any updates and changes – speak soon!
P.S. The shows aren’t quite over yet for this year! We’ll be with Wiemann at the Brussels Furniture Show from 3-6 November too. Perhaps a chance for a sneak preview for retailers visiting of new launches for 2020!
